MYTsA is a novel reagent for peptide synthesis that can replace traditional carbodiimides, eliminating the need for Fmoc protection and piperidine deprotection. It allows for efficient peptide synthesis in the natural N to C direction, enabling the use of unprotected amino acids while preventing racemization and epimerization. By improving atom economy and reducing waste, MYTsA makes the process greener and more sustainable, with the added benefit of using aqueous solvents. Its ynamide-based mechanism forms stable intermediates, streamlining peptide bond formation into a simpler, faster, and more efficient workflow.
