Building block for the SPPS of internally quenched fluorogenic peptide substrates (FRET substrates). The non-fluorescent DABCYL chromophore is able to efficiently quench the fluorescent group EDANS, which can be introduced with Fmoc-Glu(EDANS)-OH (FAA4410).
