Nucleic acids have emerged in recent years to yield promising drug candidates for a wide range of diseases, as also shown in terms of the development of the mRNA vaccine to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. As nucleic acids are not able to pass physiological barriers, novel tools for packing and delivery are required especially as the frequently used polyethylene glycol may lead to the generation of anti-PEG antibodies that may cause immunogenicity and allergic reactions. Iris Biotech offers a selection of innovative lipidated PSar and PGA-based polyamino acids for improved drug delivery.
