Building block for the SPPS of internally quenched fluorogenic peptide substrates (FRET substrates). The fluorescent group EDANS can be efficiently quenched by the non-fluorescent DABCYL chromophore (introduced by Fmoc-Lys(Dabcyl)-OH (FAA1498).
