This reagent may be used to build molecules with a free amino group upon release. The pentanoic acid residue can be used to immobilize the SCAL-Linker via an ester or amide on a resin or carrier molecule. The amino group is liberated by reduction of the sulfoxides, followed by acidolysis with TFA.
