The China Hi-Tech-Fair happening from Nov 16 to 21, 2013 in Shenzhen was a delicate platform for enterprises to meet each other and find collaborations in the field of drug discovery, drug delivery, diagnostics and life sciences research in general. The Bavarian companies Cfm Oskar Tropitzsch and Iris Biotech GmbH presented latest developments and sophisticated technologies in the fields of natural products, phytochemicals, peptide synthesis, and delivery technologies for biopharmaceuticals.

New technologies have been presented using fermentation products, phytochemicals and peptide toxins as tools for new medicinal therapies. New carriers enabeling smart applications for personalized medicine and combination therapy showed extraordinary interest throughout the audience. Not only companies form the Shenzhen area, but throughout whole P.R. of China attended this fair, in order to seek collaborations to exhibiting companies from abroad. Representative German and Bavarian organizations, like The Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other governmental departments supported the success of this event by their presence and networking capabilities.

For the attending companies it was a real success to find new collaboration possibilities and to intensify contacts to enterprises in China and also to reach out to other Asian markets.
