Carbohydrates

Besides amino acids, Carbohydrates form the most important compound class as building blocks of life on earth primarily in their function for storage and transport of energy. Find in this chapter a large variety of common, rare, or artificial sugar molecules including chromogenic and fluorogenic carbohydrate substrates for microbiology and diagnostic. We offer a wide variety of carbohydrates including simple monosaccharides and disaccharides along with longer chain oligosaccharides and polysaccharides. As a specialty, we offer several grades of xylan, suitable as key raw material for manufacturing PPS.
