Poly(2-oxazoline)s (POxs) are innovative alternatives to classical poly(ethylene glycols). Poly(2-oxazoline)s are biocompatible, nontoxic, antimicrobial, antifungal and antifouling. Both termini of a POxs may be equipped with different functional groups. Furthermore, there is a large variety of possible side chains. This opens up the possibility to fine-tune the physicochemical properties of Poly(2-oxazoline)s. Iris Biotech already offers a selection of POxs, and will, of course, provide you with an offer for custom-made Poly(2-oxazoline)s as well.
