About our special guest
Thierry Brigaud received his Ph.D. from University Claude Bernard (Lyon, France) in 1990. He has been a Full Professor at the CY Cergy Paris Université since 2002. He was the Director of the Laboratory of Chemical Biology (LCB, EA 4505) from 1 October 2012 to 31 December 2019. He is Deputy Director of BioCIS (UMR-CNRS-8076) and the director of the Chemical Biology Team of BioCIS since 2020. His interests include chiral fluorinated compounds (amino acids, pseudopeptides, amino alcohols, amines, diamines, etc.) and the synthesis of fluorinated peptides and biological applications (inhibition of amyloid peptide aggregation, nociception, antimicrobial peptides, protease inhibition, etc...).
