About our special guest
Christina Uth studied Chemistry at the University of Darmstadt and University of Heidelberg focusing on Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry. During her PhD, she worked on the “Development of biorthogonal synthetic strategies towards hybrid macromolecular conjugates with tailored properties”. In 2016, she founded the company Sulfotools together with Sascha Knauer. For their work, they received the Innovation Award for Climate and Environment in 2020.

About our special guest
Sascha Knauer studied Chemistry at the University of Darmstadt with a focus on Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry. During his PhD, he worked on “Aqueous solid-phase peptide synthesis (ASPPS): A novel concept of peptide synthesis”. In 2016, during his PhD, Sascha Knauer founded the company Sulfotools together with his colleague Christina Uth. For their work, they received the Innovation Award for Climate and Environment in 2020.
