Linker for Antibody-Drug-Conjugation (ADC). In contrast to the hydroxybenzyl derivative ADC1060 the chloride is able to react with tertiary amines to form a linked quarternary amine. The Val-Ala will specifically be cleaved by Cathepsin B. As this enzyme is only present in the lysosome the ADC payload will be released only in those cells.
