Conditions for Participation

The participation in the advent calendar of Iris Biotech (hereinafter referred to as operator or organizer) is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions for participation.

Course of the Advent Calendar

From 01.12.2022 to 24.12.2022, participants can open one advent calendar online door each day.

Participation

Participation takes place by starting the advent calendar and clicking on the respective advent calendar door. Behind each advent calendar door is a quiz question. In order to participate in the final prize draw, it is necessary to complete and submit the displayed participation form. Prizes will be drawn among all correct answers. The advent calendar is active from 01.12.2022 till 24.12.2022. Submissions, which are received after the closing date will not be considered for the final draw. Participation is free of charge.

Eligible

Natural persons who have reached the age of 14 are eligible to participate. Participation is not limited to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. If a participant is restricted in his legal capacity, the consent of his legal representative is required. All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the advent calendar, all employees of the operator, as well as their family members are not allowed to participate in the advent calendar. Besides, employees of Cfm Oskar Tropitzsch GmbH and their family members are excluded. In addition, the operator reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are legitimate reasons, such as

(a) manipulation regarding the access or the execution of the prize competition/draw, (b) violations of these terms and conditions, (c) unfair action or (d) false or misleading information in connection with the participation.

Prize, Notification and Prize Transfer

The following prizes will be raffled: 150 Euro Amazon voucher (1^st prize), 100 Euro Amazon voucher (2^nd prize), 50 Euro Amazon voucher (3^rd prize) and 10 Iris Biotech paper notebooks (4^th-13^th prize). Winners will be determined in a random draw among all participants, who have submitted the correct answer. Winners of the raffle will be informed about their prize via a separate e-mail. The prize will be handed over exclusively to the winner or the legal representative of the minor winner. Exchange, pick-up or cash payment of the prize are not possible. Any costs incurred for dispatching the prizes shall be borne by the operator. Any additional costs related to the usage of the prize shall be borne by the winner. If required, the winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize. If the winner does not respond within a period of 3 weeks, the prize can be transferred to another participant by the operator.

Termination of the Advent Calendar

The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the online advent calendar including its integrated promotions at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disturb or prevent the scheduled course of the advent calendar.

Applicable Law

Questions or complaints regarding the advent calendar or its contents should be addressed to the operator. Contact details can be found in the imprint area of the advent calendar. The advent calendar of the operator is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Severability Clause

Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that comes closest to the economic meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision. The same shall apply mutatis mutandis in the event of a loophole in these terms and conditions of participation.
