description

Indocyanine green (ICG) is a near-infrared fluorescence imaging dye. Absorption maximum is at 800 nm and there is slight absorption in the visible range, which results in low auto-fluorescence and tissue absorbance. Emission maximum is at 810 nm. ICG has been approved by the FDA.

RL-3830 is an ICG conjugated benzylguanine (BG). The BG moiety reacts specifically and rapidly with the so-called SNAP-tag, a polypeptide protein tag, allowing irreversible and covalent labeling of SNAP fusion proteins with ICG.
